Let it Snow!

It rarely snows here in WA so when it did my mom always made it so exciting and special. When the snow started a couple days ago it was very exciting and we went out to play!


The snow didn't stay around too long which is typical for our area but then later we got a lot more snow! We were stuck in the house for a couple days but yesterday was beautiful! And so I took Jaxson outside to make some memories. And as tradition would have it we always have Hot Cocoa and graham crackers when we're done.

I pulled Jaxson around on a sled and he had a blast! And I got a pretty good workout!


We are expecting more snow today! A big storm is supposed to come in and I'm so glad I'm finished with my Christmas shopping. I'm dreaming of a White Christmas!

Christmas Time!

I love Christmas and everything about it! I've been slacking on my Christmas shopping this year so today I went and finished a lot of it. Steve only worked a half day which was nice because I didn't have to take the kids. He's in his Pediatrics rotation and he likes it. It's pretty uneventful compared to Surgery. He sees a lot of children for well visits and he's amazed at how many people bring their kids in with only a cold. They don't recommend Cold Medicine so he just sends them home. This week has been busy. I had a Relief Society progressive dinner, and baby shower for a friend, a meeting with the Relief Society Presidency, and I have a family cookie exchange tomorrow. I also have a calling now, I'm Enrichment Leader! I'm really excited about it and I'm especially excited about the new Relief Society Presidency that I'll be working with.
We sure will miss not getting to see a lot of our family for Christmas. Although it is nice not to have to travel during the Holidays. I wish all of our friends and family a Merry Christmas!
