Easter Message

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We went to a Easter egg hunt at my Aunt Jenny's house on Saturday and Jaxson had a lot of fun. On Sunday morning the kids got their Easter Baskets. They got more toys then candy this year so they had fun digging into their baskets. After Church my brother, his fiancee, and her family came to my parents house for dinner. It was great to get to know them better and dinner was Delicious.

Learning To Walk Is Hard To Do....

Ehlana really wants to walk, but, she's not quite there yet. She still doesn't know how to pull herself up onto things and she's not very good a cruising the furniture. She loves to hold our hands and walk though and she can take a few steps in between us and stand for a couple seconds in her own. I've been putting her against things like the couch and her changing table so she can learn to keep her balance better and build her upper body strength. Here are some pictures of her playing in her room. She was loading and unloading her shoes and some other toys into her Easter Basket. I hope she starts walking soon! I think she'll be a lot happier. Aren't her chubby little legs so cute??

Finally!! Some Decent Pictures!!!

Steve and I grow more and more frustrated with our video camera that doesn't take very good pictures. As I'm sure you can tell from some of my previous posts.... The problem is I don't think the pictures I take do my kids justice. I mean, they are really cute kids!! :)

So, I was thrilled when my wonderful friend, Heidi, brought her really nice camera to a get together with some of our close friends. She took some amazing pictures of the kiddos and even touched them up for me. Thank you so much, Heidi!

Hair Cuts for My Kids

Hair cuts are a pretty common occurrence in our house. Jaxson gets hair cuts regularly, but, Ehlana has only had a couple. (I guess she's a head of the game considering she just turned 11 months old!) Her hair has trouble growing out evenly because she likes to sleep on her back. It was looking kind of scraggily so I trimmed it up and gave her a cute little bob. I'm so glad I chose the profession I did! And I love my kid’s hair!

My Almost Graduate!!!!

Okay this is an old picture.... but Steve has only 45 days left until Graduation!!!! He's trying to find a job in Surgery and things are looking good. We'll keep you posted!

Like Father Like Son

Jaxson gave a scripture in Primary a couple weeks ago and he memorized it! It was Exodus 20:12. It was so cute, he stood up and recited it into the microphone. I had him repeat it again so I could post the video, but, our computer seems to be having technical difficulties. Now instead of reading a different Scripture every night we pick one and help him memorize it. It takes him a week or two. I'm so glad he got his memory from his father!
