Graduation and a Wedding

My husband is officially Stephen Cox, MPA,PA-C. He graduated two weeks ago from Eastern Virginia Medical School with a 3.75 GPA. I'm so proud of him! I met him in VA on Friday morning before graduation, that night we attended an awards banquet and white coat ceremony with his parents. He looks so handsome in his Doctor's coat!

The next day was the Graduation and his sister and her family drove down from northern VA for a part of it. The speakers were great and very inspiring. It almost made me want to go to Medical School so I could go out and make a profound difference in the world. But, I think I'll just support my husband in all his endeavors and use my own talents to make a difference.
He got his diploma, and graduation hood, and then took the Physician Assistant Pledge. I got most of it on video and my brother-in-law, Tim took some great pictures.

After Graduation we met Tim and Laurie and their kids at a near by restaurant for lunch and then went swimming at the hotel. My in laws and Tim and Laurie left late afternoon and we had the evening to ourselves at the hotel.
I really missed the kids and called them a lot. Jaxson was really cute to talk to on the phone. But, I'm so glad we left them with my parents because is was such a whirl wind of a trip and the kids would not have enjoyed the Graduation. Steve took his boards a couple days ago and he's already had a job interview with an Orthopedic Surgeon. He's still applying to other jobs in the area. We'll keep you posted on the job hunt! I just can't believe we are finally finished with school!!!!
I'm so proud of you, Honey!

When we got back from Graduation on Sunday it was Wedding time. My Brother was getting married that Thursday! Neil and Amber were married in the Seattle temple Thursday, May 21st. It was a beautiful sealing and we enjoyed a luncheon with friends and family afterward. Friday morning my sister, my mom, and I went to the church to help Amber's family set up for the reception. It was Beautiful! They did a drop ceiling and so when you walked in it looked like you were in a tent for an out door wedding. It was complete with a working fountain in the middle of the dance floor. We had a great time with her family. They are really wonderful people. The kids had so much fun, too. Little Ehlana had never been to a party like that before and she danced and sang the night away. She loves to be loud and crazy! Jaxson danced and danced and ran around with his cousins, Paul and Sam. It was a great weekend!
Congratulations Neil and Amber!

So, that's what we have been up to. Oh, and we had our Anniversary last month, too. Five years and going strong! As you can tell it's been crazy, but, really fun around here. We'll see if it slows down as the summer continues, but, I doubt it!

AHHHHHHH!!! Please tell Steve CONGRATS from us. What an amazing accomplishment. That is truly wonderful. I am happy for you and wish you the best of luck with the job search. Did you see anyone while in Virginia? You are looking as pretty as ever by the way.

Steve actually went to our old ward and was so happy to see a lot of our friends. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to see anyone. (Except for Paul Dodd, he took us to the airport and gave me the scoop on everyone.) I didn't have much time at all so we spent most of it with his family.

Sorry I didn't get to see all my VA friends! We miss you guys!
