Christmas Festivities

We had a wonderful and busy Holiday Season. The month of December flew by! Here are some highlights of December 2009.

The Santa Parade with some of our best friends the Simpsons. Complete with doughnuts and hot cocoa. Not the best pictures of us but the kids had a great time even though it was really cold.

Jaxson's Preschool Program. They sang songs, gave the parents a homemade ornament, opened a gift from Mrs. Spencer, and decorated cookies.

Christmas Parties! We made popcorn snowmen with some friends, sang songs at a family party with my Mom's side of the family, had a white elephant gift exchange with some friends, enjoyed a fun ward party at the church, and went on a dinner cruise for Steve's work party. We didn't take many pictures but we made a lot of great memories.

I love the Christmas Season!

Kids Funny Phrases

Jaxson was wearing Ehlana's Snow White dress and Steve said,"Hello pretty Princess."
Jaxson was irritated and responded, "I'm not a Princess. I'm Spider Man!"

Ehlana put an envelope in her underwear and said, "Look! I have a package!"

Jaxson: "I am glad I am going to be a Daddy and not a Mommy because I don't want to go to the Doctor and get the pokes (shots) and then lay a baby."

I was explaining the story of Daniel and the Lion's Den and I asked the kids what they think happened when Daniel was put into the den. Ehlana said, "I turned into super hero, a pink one, and I got him out of there!"

Jaxson: "Mom, if you were my size then I could marry you."

Ehlana was watching a tv show about fairies and she excitedly said, "I love the purple fairy! And the pink one! I WANT TO BE A MERMAID!"

Jaxson: "First you go to college, then you fall in love, then you go on like 10 dates, then you get married and you have to kiss on the lips. That's gross. I don't want to see that."
