That day they got to dress up as community workers and earn pretend money to buy things at their store. It was adorable to watch them use their imaginations and every once in a while a child would get up to the check out counter and not have any money for their things. The store cashier would have to tell them to go and work so they could earn money to buy things. It was funny. Some kids built roads with tracks, other played Doctor or Police officer. There was an Army man and a Veterinarian. They all took turns being the store cashier and tried to count the money. It was a fun day at preschool!

Ok such an adorable idea to have a way for the kids to earn and make money. I know your mom has been doing this for awhile but way creative.
