This morning as the kids were eating their cream of wheat Jaxson said, "I guess everyone in Washington is staying at home today and eating hot food." We do have cabin fever. (Today is the 4th day the kids have been home from school.)
But, we are so grateful for a warm and comfortable home.
We have electricity and food and a multitude of other blessings. The weather today is even worst than it has been the last few days. Last night all the snow turned into solid ice. I was really worried about Steve going into work today. He said he almost got stuck in the hospital parking lot but he made it to the clinic okay. Our tree out front isn't so lucky.
