Magic Words

I over heard Jaxson and Ehlana arguing over a ball.

Jaxson: "Ehlana, if you don't give me that ball. I will take it from you!"

Ehlana: "If you take my ball I will scratch your face!"

Jaxson: "If you scratch my face I will take your strings!" (Something else Ehlana had possession of.)

Ehlana: "If you take my strings I will hit you!"

Jaxson: Sighs in frustration. "Ehlana! .... Ehlana, may I please have the ball?"

Ehlana: "Um, okay!"

Moral of the story: People are more likely to give you what you want when you ask nicely.
