Fourth of July Weekend

This weekend we had a blast visiting Tim and Laurie at Tim's cousin's house in Maryland. They live right on the water so we spent our time kayaking, swimming, and playing on the Seadoos. We LOVE the water so we had a great time! The men also went on a fishing trip at 4:30 in the morning and Jaxson and I had a ride on the fishing boat with his cousins on Saturday. The only bummer to our perfect weekend was the the rain. A big thunderstorm rolled in on Friday night at about 7pm so our fireworks show didn't get underway until 9pm. and Saturday morning it was a little rainy also, but we still played on the water anyway. Jaxson loved the kayak. He kept saying, "This is so fun, Mama." and "Go this way!"

Steve was mad man on the Seadoo. He kept trying all kinds of tricks and threw himself off quite a few times. But he took a break from the wild riding to give his son a ride.

We paddled the kayak over to a little island and let the kids play in the sand. Steve gave me a tow back on the raft. Check out his muscles!
